Current Gen Systems

The PS3 and the Xbox360 are among the leading gaming consoles on the market each with their own unique content.  They both provide unique experiences for their loyal fans, and they not only offer gameplay capability but also similar services found on your computer.  These two systems have a rivalry with each other as they compete to become the best system out there.

Lets talk about the PS3 and what it can do.  The PS3 is capable of playing almost any kind of disc from regular CD's to the complex Blu-Ray DVD's, and lets not forget the video games.  The graphics from the PS3 are processed by the NVidia RSX.  It has a built in ethernet port, bluetooth 2.0, and Wi-Fi.  The controller for the system is wireless and rechargeable.  The controllers come with the Sixaxis feature which tracks movement in order to move objects or characters on the game.  Other accessories inclue the Playstation Eye camera which is used with the most current installment of the Playstation Move.  The Playstation Network is installed into the PS3 which allows gamers to play online with other players while connected to an internet connection.  These are just the basics, but there are much more complex content included in the PS3 which makes the gameplay process much more awesome.

I prefer the PS3 over the Xbox 360 because of the ease it comes with.  The PS3 comes with an easy interface which makes maneuvering through menus much easier.  The interface allows gamers to see almost everything without having to scroll through different categories as you would in an Xbox 360.  Also, if you want to play online on an Xbox 360, you have to purchase access to its Xbox Live whereas on a PS3, it is free.  I own a PS3 right now and I never had any complaints with it unlike my friends who have an Xbox 360 who have complained about the "ring of death".
